South Carolina’s Governor Mark Sanford is missing and until now still not been found since Thursday. According to reports even his wife Jenny Sanford does not know where he his and he didn’t spend Father’s Day with his family and didn’t show up to work this Monday.

Authorities said, Sanford apparently left the governor’s mansion in a black SUV on Thursday. His last known whereabouts, according to phone records, was somewhere near Atlanta.

Since then, the governor’s state and personal phones had been turned off, and Sanford had not responded to phone or text messages, a source said. Most mobile phones cannot be tracked if they are turned off.
